What is a Licensed Public Adjuster and Why They are Important?

A Licensed Public Adjuster is licensed by the state’s departments of insurance to represent and advocate for the homeowner while filing an insurance claim.

Any time you file a claim for damage sustained to your home, your insurance carrier will send a staff adjuster or in many cases a third-party company to assess the damage to your property. While on-site that adjuster’s duty is to determine the exact cause of loss (i.e., wind, hail, fire, water), the scope of work needed, and the overall value that is owed to the owner.

Because the adjuster is hired and works for the company, their job is to minimize the insurance carrier’s exposure by paying the least amount possible to the homeowner.

A Licensed Public Adjuster is hired by the owner of the property and their only duty is an advocate for the home or business owner during the insurance claims process. As your public adjuster, we will hold the insurance carrier accountable to fully indemnify your following any covered loss to your property.

A Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster is an expert that you can lean on to help you navigate the insurance claim process and ensure all your needs are met during this difficult time.
